I am an experienced English and writing workshop teacher, as well as an Everyone A Reader Volunteer and a volunteer children's librarian. I spend a lot of time in schools working with teachers and librarians. I earned my Masters in English Education with one of the nation's foremost literacy specialists, Dr. Janet Allen.

What You Get

I'll read your book then create lesson plans based on it for English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies/History, and Art. I can address these lesson plans to the target age group of your book, whether they're in elementary, middle, or high school. I'll include ideas for incorporating these ideas across the curriculum, getting teachers excited about using your book in their classrooms!

You'll recieve a complete, publishable Teacher Guide to post on your Website, or print out and include with your School Visit packets.

What I need from you:

A copy of your book
Permission to quote short passages for use in the lesson plans
Permission to use the cover art and interior art in the lesson plans (may be obtained from the artist or the publisher, depending on who owns the copyright)

The Fee: Picture Books - $100, Novels - $200

This price includes your Teacher Guide in two formats, a printable version and a postable version, and permission to reproduce the Guide however best suits your marketing plan. (I retain the copyright for the Guide itself.)
